Small headlamps appear from everywhere, filling the press releases with big promises.
However, it’s not too often that you really have the opportunity to see these things in action, so we were pleased to see Samsung display not one but two prototypes of their upcoming pico projector MBP200 running for all.
The Digital Experience room was fairly well informed, not ideal conditions for a small projector, but he threw a respectable light image on a screen about three feet. No bigger than a cell phone, the projector has a MBP200 Integrated 480 x 320 LCD and 320 x 240 by 2.2 inches when you want to be a little more intimate. It plays videos, music, and even files directly from a microSD card, which means in theory that you can make a full presentation with one device. All this sounds great, the only thing missing would be a semblance of anticipated price or release date more specific than “this year.”
