14.6 megapixel CMOS sensor
Specially developed for Pentax K-7, the CMOS sensor measuring 14.6-megapixel 23.4 x 15.6 mm. The CMOS APS-C is equipped with 4 channels. Used in conjunction with the Image Processor II PRIME (PENTAX Real Image Engine), the result should be in line with our expectations with regard to the reproduction of colors and shades more faithful to reality.
