PictBridge provide technology that lets you print directly from your camera (which most new printers have) without using a computer or software for editing images.

-How is the output photo quality:
Factors include optical quality of lens and image capture card, compression algorithms, and resolution of the CCD.
The higher the resolution the better since greater details can be captured.

Olympus Pen E-P1: First Micro 4:3

It took 9 months of gestation extra compared to Olympus Panasonic to present its first compact hybrid. This is done today with the formalization of Pen Digital Pen E-P1, first to Mount Olympus micro 4:3.

There are so retro metallic look of the model of micro 4:3 Olympus we had shown at Photokina. A 13 megapixel sensor as 4:3 Team Digital Pen E-P1 to a final resolution of 12 megapixels. We will use if the sensor has made progress in high sensitivity compared to traditional 12-megapixel SLR used by Olympus and Panaosnic on the G1 and GH1. Do not deny our pleasure to see this finally formalized Olympus compact, and with an integrated image stabilization in the housing by translation of the sensor as the Olympus SLR.

Kodak EasyShare Z740The Kodak Z740 is a 5-Megapixel digital camera that has a 10x optical zoom (38-380 mm equivalent focal length), stores images in the internal 32 MB of flash memory or on the SD/MMC memory cards. It has a USB port for transferring your images to your computer or printers and a EasyShare dock connection.

The camera runs on 2 AA-type batteries or a single larger disposable battery (supplied). The camera has an adaptor that lets you use 55mm filters, that can also serve as a miniature lens hood. Pentax K-7 14.6 megapixel CMOS sensor
Specially developed for Pentax K-7, the CMOS sensor measuring 14.6-megapixel 23.4 x 15.6 mm. The CMOS APS-C is equipped with 4 channels. Used in conjunction with the Image Processor II PRIME (PENTAX Real Image Engine), the result should be in line with our expectations with regard to the reproduction of colors and shades more faithful to reality. Furthermore, it has the Enlargement of dynamic range (SAR). This results in more detail in the low and high lights at once.  A new cell 77 areas was designed for K-7 for a more detailed analysis of the ambient light.
